Feature phones

A feature phone is a mobile device that maintains the traditional design of earlier-generation phones, with button-based input and a small display. Often referred to as "dumbphones" in contrast to touchscreen smartphones, feature phones typically run on an embedded operating system with a simple graphical user interface, unlike the more complex, general-purpose platforms like Android or iOS. They primarily offer voice calling and text messaging, along with basic multimedia, internet access, and services from the user's wireless carrier. Standard features include a backlit LCD screen, a hardware notification LED, a micro-USB port, a physical keyboard, a microphone, an SD card slot, a rear-facing camera for photos and video recording, and GPS functionality. Some models also feature a basic app store offering simple software like mobile games, calendars, and calculators. In Bangladesh, the Nokia 1100 stands out as the most iconic feature phone of all time. Many still fondly remember its classic ringtone, addictive snake game, durable build, long-lasting battery, stylish design, and the satisfying feel of it in hand.
